Native Sunglasses

From LoveToKnow Sunglasses

For athletes, lovers of extreme sports and outdoor enthusiasts, Native sunglasses are known as one of the top names in performance eyewear. Using high quality materials and the latest technology, Native offers incredible protection and visibility.

What Native Sunglasses Have to Offer

Native sunglasses have employed a number of technologies in the design of their glasses to provide the best comfort, protection and visual acuity possible. They also offer a lifetime guarantee on their eyewear, and many of their styles are available in prescription sunglasses.

Here are a few of the highlights that make Native popular:

Polarization

ASAP -- for Native, this stands for all sports, all polarized. Polarized sunglasses work to both reduce glare and increase contrast. They filter the light rays that cause glare while allowing other light waves through. Polarization is offered today in many types of standard sunglasses, and it is an especially important aspect of sport sunglasses, where intense light glare can be extremely dangerous. The polycarbonate crystal lenses also provide clarity and impact resistance.

Accident Protection

Native sunglasses are currently the only performance eyewear to offer an anti-ocular intrusion system. This is a lens reinforcement system that protects your eyes in case of collision or instances of high impact, stopping the lenses from shooting inward and preventing severe eye damage.

Revolutionary Frames

The frames on Native sunglasses are made from a lightweight, but extremely strong material. The durable thermoplastic frames are designed to hold up against both collisions or high impact and extreme temperatures.

The frames are also equipped with a venting system that:

  • Provides adequate ventilation
  • Eliminates fog
  • Prevents condensation
  • Blocks light from entering

The exclusive cam-action hinges are designed for securing the glasses quickly and easily, locking them into place.

Comfort

Revolutionary sunglasses don't mean much without the proper fit and comfort. That's why Native sunglasses offer self-adjusting nose pads and temple boots made of Cushional. This material is both comfortable and prevents slippage during activity.

Interchangeable Lens Systems

There are over nine different styles in the Native collection that are available with interchangeable lens systems. This allows you to change the lenses according to light levels and the environment as needed. Many come with four different sets of lenses, so it's really like getting four pairs of glasses in one.

You can also swap the wraparound frames for an exclusive sports band for a more secure fit.

Styles

There are several basic styles to choose from, but many of these styles come in different variations so you can have the look that's right for you.
  • The Hardtop, also available in XP or Xtra Protection, is a durable style with reinforced top frames and interchangeable lens system.
  • The Dash, an oval lens style also with interchangeable lenses, is sold in SS squared lenses, XR, with round lenses, and XP Xtra Protection.
