Geoff, have you tried contacting the company's customer service directly? Who made them? If you can't get replacement magnets, maybe you could purchase just the clip-on part instead of having to buy another frame as well. One other option may be to check with your local optical shop. They may know where to get small and even obscure eyeglass parts and be able to order them for you.

Dianna, I have never heard of that happening, even from customers who'd had their glasses for years. I suppose it could, but it doesn't seem likely.

Will the magnets for the clip on sunglasses wear out as told to me by a salesperson at Lens Crafters?

I need to find a replacement magnetic flip up sunglasses for my prescription glasses. They are sergio tachini model st 1023 size 52 black lg bridge size. They are apparently discontinued. Thanks

When I purchased my glasses I paid $25 to get the magnetic clip on sunglasses. Now I need a replacement pair the the price quoted to me was $58. I will not pay that much for sunglasses and am wondering if there are other ways to find replacements. Thanks for any help you can give me. Carol VanDuinen

Dione, visit your local optical shop to try them on in person or visit Sun-Bar online. Another option comes from Brimz, sunglasses that attach to your hat or visor and flip up when needed. You can get standalone clips or eyeglass/clip-on combos if you need prescription lenses. The clips don't have your prescription in then; the clear lenses in the eyeglasses will.
